The APC Back-UPS RS 900VA UPS is an ideal way to protect your IT system. It is designed to protect your equipment from power surges on data lines, and provides temporary battery power when the utility power is out.  Power capacity and run time is reserved for equipment requiring battery backup, such as computers and monitors. Surge-only outlets are ideal for scanners, printers and other non-critical devices, enabling the UPS to provide maximised power for more important equipment.

The batteries are user-replaceable with no tools required, and are also hot-swappable so you can replace them without powering down your equipment. Automatic self-testing provides early detection of batteries that need to be replaced. Intelligent precision charging and adjustable voltage transfer points are both available to help maximise battery life.  Audible alarms alert you to changes to power conditions, while the LCD graphics display provides information and alerts in the form of text and diagrams.
