WorkForce DS-50000 Description
Epson's WorkForce DS-50000 Document Scanner seamlessly captures documents as small as a business card and as large as 11x17". The scanner includes programmable one-touch scanning buttons that allow you to build up to 30 custom scan processes, as well as image enhancement capabilities like a colour dropout. In addition to storing a scan as an image file, you can also create a searchable PDF file from your scans. Convert all of your files to searchable PDFs, and easily find what you need by searching your documents.
Flexible Compatibility
The DS 50000 is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems and comes with software that includes OCR to turn scanned documents into editable text. It offers a four-line CCD sensor that has a resolution of 600x600 dpi, allowing for full image detail in both greyscale and colour. Also included is a software that allows you to scan directly to cloud services like Dropbox, Evernote, and Google Docs; allowing you to view your scans from any web-connected device such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
