The OS1/OS2 Optronics ST - ST 5m Singlemode Duplex Fibre Patch Lead (149-15E/5/YLW) ensures the performance and reliability of servers, storage, and network switches. Built using the highest-quality fibre cable and connectors, Optronics OS1/OS2 fibre-patch cables come with individual test sheet and unique product identification number for traceability. All Optronics Fibre cables are available in in SC, ST, FC, LC, E2000 and MU connector styles, and multiple lengths.

The connector length from tip to boot assembly is only 42 mm, compared to 57 mm for standard SC – 35% shorter! These patch cords have the added benefit of being supplied with reduced bend sensitivity ITU-T G657 singlemode optical fibre which exhibit much lower optical power loss under bend conditions while remaining compatible with conventional cabling. SC short boot patch cords are designed to meet IEC and BS EN requirements.
