The TC-P55UT50 55" Smart VIERA Class 3D Plasma HDTV from Panasonicbrings content alive with full 1080p HD 3D technology. It adds a 3D effect to movies, sports, video games and images. It also lets you tap into the virtual limitless possibilities of accessing movies, shows and info directly from the Internet with the built-in Ethernet port or wireless LAN adapter.
The TC-P55UT50 includes two HDMI ports and one component input for high-definition devices. The USB 2.0 inputs allow you to display photo slideshows and share MP3 audio files with your friends, too.
The TC-P55UT50 yields images that truly show off any source material, be it a Blu-ray movie, broadcast and cable TV, or video games. Panasonic's proprietary 2500 Focused Field Drive detects image movements like the human eye, and optimizes the drive accordingly. By achieving instantaneously powerful light emission rather than finely divided emission, it reduces the afterimages that cause blurring. As a result, fast movement is reproduced with excellent clarity.
In addition, the built-in ATSC / QAM / NTSC tuners receive virtually all available local digital and analog programs. Not only does the TC-P55UT50 HDTV complement any decor but the unit is filled with provides a feature set that would "wow" the utmost A/V enthusiast.
