Yamaha CS-500 Video Collaboration System Description

The Yamaha CS500 is an all-in-one video conferencing system for small meeting rooms and huddle rooms. It combines an ultra high-definition camera, and beamforming hexa-microphone array technology to deliver quality video and voice experience during video conferences. The videobar captures high-quality video at UHD 4K@30 fps resolution, making it ideal for conferencing and collaboration.

The CS500 Video Collaboration System incorporates the new Yamaha SoundCap Eye AI technology, Noise Reduction Technology, and an embedded beamforming Hexa-microphone array to identify participants and filter out unwanted background noise in noisy environments.

The Yamaha CS500 is compatible with leading UC platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) and operating systems (Windows, macOS). It allows for versatile installation by offering table-top placement, wall-mounting, and monitor mounting (separate purchase). This videobar is an excellent choice for small meeting spaces and huddle rooms that require a compact solution without sacrificing video and audio quality. Noise Cancellation Technologies

The Yamaha CS500 All-in-One Video Conferencing System for Small Meeting Spaces and Huddle Rooms features a beamforming hexa-microphone that focuses on capturing participant voices in a distinct area. Reducing background noise, such as air conditioners and distant conversations is possible with the help of the CS500 Noise Reduction technology and SoundCap Eye AI technology.

Multiple Installation Offerings

The Yamaha CS500 offers multiple installation setups, making it a go-to device for any huddle room. It can be placed directly on a conference room table for a simple setup. A wall mounting bracket is also included, allowing it to be mounted on the wall, giving a more streamlined look. There is also an option of a monitor mount (sold separately) that allows the CS500 to mount directly to a VESA-compatible monitor or screen. This is useful if you want to minimise table clutter or create a more integrated video conferencing setup.

SoundCap Eye

The CS500 features Yamaha's recent AI technology, SoundCap Eye. This technology features three essential modes - the Self-Silence feature which automatically mutes the microphone when the conference participants are not speaking; Face Focus Beamforming picks up conversations while reducing the distracting noise around the participant; and the Self-Volume Balancer allows the CS500 to automatically adjust its volume according to the ambient noise and to keep an appropriate speaker volume level. With the use of this AI technology, the CS500 can synchronise audio and visual data to provide the most precise, real-time hybrid collaboration experience.

Multi-Platform Compatibility

The Yamaha CS500 Conference Videobar seamlessly integrates with all leading Unified Communications (UC) softwares or platforms. Easy setups and no additional drivers are required for Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, BlueJeans, and other services. Numerous operating systems, such as Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, iOS, and Android, are compatible with the CS500. This eliminates compatibility problems and enables users with various devices to join video chats.

Seamless Connectivity

For the transfer of data, audio, and video, the CS500 uses a single USB cable. It lessens wire clutter and makes setup simpler. Together with various connectivity options, such as Bluetooth for audio calls on mobile devices and Wi-Fi for network connectivity (firmware updates, etc.), the videobar also has automatic wake-up via HDMI-CEC. The CS500 supports BYOD and also provides a plug-and-play video conferencing solution for small meeting spaces and huddle rooms, independent of the platform or device that users use.
