The indoor dome features a 2.8mm Fixed Lens and a 1/3" CMOS image sensor, producing an image quality of 1280 x 1024 (1.3 Megapixel) at 30 frames per second. The low light capabilities of this camera are well above other cameras in it's price range, with a color lux rating of 0.05 and a black & white lux rating of 0.03. If the lux drops below 0.03, the Infrared LEDs activate and provide visibility with an effective range of 15 meters / 45 feet.
	Even though this is considered an entry level dome camera, the GV-EFD1100-0F includes WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) Enhancement, which enhances the image quality in environments with challenging lighting conditions (Such as ultra bright or dim lighting). It works by combing the darkest part of the image with the brightest part to create one highly detailed, balanced image.
The GV-FD1510 comes with 3D-DNR technology that helps to reduce the digital noise in an image by minimizing the static or other visual disturbances. This brings out clear and sharp images. This camera has the ONVIF compliance, a common protocol for the exchange of information between network video devices. This compliance also helps with interoperability of the IP addresses. The day and night function with removable IR cut filter helps to bring out color images in daylight and black and white images at nighttime.
