AKG PCC130SW Supercardioid Boundary Layer Microphone with Programmable Switch DescriptionÂ
Take charge of meeting sessions with a PCC130SW super-cardioid boundary layer microphone with a programmable switch from AKG. The PCC130SW is a microphone intended for multiple microphone use on a conference table where each person wants control of his or her microphone. It features a super-cardioid polar pattern which has a tighter pickup angle and offers more side rejection. The super-cardioid is slightly sensitive to sound sources that are directly behind the microphone to capture the focused sound of an instrument or voice. PCC technology (phase coherent cardioid) is featured in the PCC130SW microphone for clear and natural sound projection. The PCC130SW microphone provides a silent-operating programmable membrane switch for touch-on/off, momentary on, and momentary off. It has a bass-tilt switch that allows the user to tailor the low-end response and reduce subsonic noise and a high-intensity LED light that comes on when the microphone is on.Â
Programmable Membrane SwitchÂ
The PCC130SW features a silent-operating programmable membrane switch that is normally off. This programmable membrane switch is a user interface device that is made up of several layers and used as a switch to turn a device on or off. The PCC130SW microphone switch can be configured for touch on/off, momentary on, and momentary off. This configuration is set by a bottom-mounted slide switch. The PCC-130SW membrane switch can be configured to work in three ways: Touch on/off, touch the switch to turn on the mic, touch it again to turn off the mic; Momentary on — touch and hold the switch to turn on the mic momentarily, release the switch to turn the mic back off; Momentary off — touch and hold the switch to turn off the mic momentarily, release the switch to turn the mic back on.
Natural Voice Enhancement
Project clear and natural sound with the PCC130SW microphone thanks to the PCC technology (phase coherent cardioid) features in the microphone. The PCC technology uses diaphragms so small, rendering any phase cancellations that are above the audible range. This results in a wide, smooth frequency response free of phase interference, with the microphone supporting a frequency of 50 - 20000 Hz.
Â
LED Light Indicator
The PCC130SW microphone features an LED light indicator that automatically switches on when the unit is on. Once the featured programmable membrane switch is on, the LED light is saddled with the responsibility of indicating the on and off of the membrane switch.
