Ambient Weather WS-7079 Description
Ambient Weather WS-7079 Smart Weather Station measures wind direction, wind speed, outdoor temperature and humidity, rainfall, solar radiation and UV, while the console measures barometric pressure, temperature and humidity. The console also displays feel like temperature, moon phase, and a forecast based on barometric pressure.
Wind speed/direction, temperature, humidity, UV and solar radiation are measured using a wireless sensor array and rain gauge. The wireless sensor array includes an anemometer, a radiation shield, a balancing indication for plumb installation, and a solar panel. It communicates with the console through RF (915 MHz) up to a 100-foot line of sight in the open air (300 ft under most conditions). Its vivid, easy-to-read high, definition reverse PMVA colour display lets you monitor the weather conditions in your house and backyard.
It offers an easy-to-setup WiFi connection and works with all WiFi routers. Includes a graphical user interface (GUI) or web browser interface for configuring WiFi router connectivity. The time is automatically synchronized with split-second precision over the internet UTC time server.
