The APC Smart-UPS SMT 1000VA can be used to protect fileservers, minicomputers, network switches, hubs and Point of Sale systems and ATMs from losing power. It features 8 IEC 320 C14 output connectors and a 6 minute battery run time, and is designed to safeguard your productivity as well as your critical systems.
	The uninterruptable power supply provides temporary battery power when your utility power is out, automatically restarting the connected equipment when power returns. It lets you know the month and year that the battery will need to be replaced, so that you are always prepared. It also warns you when a battery is not available to provide backup power.
The green mode bypasses unused electrical components in good power conditions, without compromising on protection. The energy meter provides clear information such as actual kilowatt hours of usage, so you can worry less about your impact on the environment. The charge voltage can be regulated according to battery temperature in order to lengthen the battery life.
