ASUS Zenwifi AX6600 Tri-band Mesh Wifi 6 System (XT8 2PK) Description
The ASUS ZenWiFi AX6600 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System offers network speeds up to 6.6 Gb/s with support for Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology and 160 MHz broad channels, which is sufficient for 8K-quality streaming with compatible devices.
It consists of two AX6600 6.6Gb/s routers that can cover up to 5500 square feet of your home, both inside and out, and gives Wi-Fi coverage across the entire home. You would not have to reconnect from one router to another as you walk around your house thanks to seamless wireless coverage and a single identity for the entire network. Additionally, you can expand the ZenWiFi system by adding AiMesh devices if your home needs more coverage.
The ZenWiFi system has been built for quick and simple network setup, and it is also flexible enough for you to take charge of a personalised experience that suits your needs. It offers parental controls, data security, support for smart home services, and compatibility with additional ASUS AiMesh parts.
It offers two 5 GHz bands, one 2.4 GHz band, and three separate Wi-Fi channels. You can either keep them separate with names for each band, or you can combine them under a single network name. A 5 GHz band can also be set aside specifically for backhaul support. In addition, ASUS AiProtection offers a lifetime service with no subscription fees. It is intended to safeguard your data, keep your family safe, monitor network activity, and manage network access.
Optional Backhaul:
A wired backhaul solution is also supported by this system. You can attach a wired backhaul link to your existing network by using one of the Ethernet ports on each router. This provides a dedicated connection for the routers while giving your mobile devices access to all three wireless bands. If you choose a backhaul connection, the router and device traffic are separated, potentially lowering network congestion. A backhaul connection is the network link between the routers and is not visible or usable by your mobile devices. If you do not put one up, your mobile devices will be able to use all three bands for network and internet access, but routers will only communicate on one of the 5 GHz bands.
Easy to Setup:
The ASUS ZenWiFi AX6600 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System can be seamlessly set up in just three steps. Simply turn on the routers, create a network name and admin account, and then wait a few minutes using the ASUS Router app. That's all you have to do! This one-time configuration provides auto-synchronisation for each router, and each router can function as either the primary router or an extender node.

Target Wake Time (TWT), a function supported by the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) ASUS ZenWiFi AX6600, allows users to program when compatible devices can awaken from sleep states and connect to the network or the internet. This enables the devices to stay asleep longer and preserves battery power.
