The ADX10 Miniature Cardioid Condenser Lavalier Microphone from Audix is primarily designed for use with Audix wireless systems. The ADX10 offers audio capture capabilities and vocal reproduction from a comfortable distance of 4″- 8″ during speech sessions, presentations, theatrical production, and other Lavalier applications. This microphone features a uniformly controlled cardioid polar pattern. The ADX10 helps to isolate the area or section being miked from other vocals or instruments on stage, providing resistance to feedback, and making it is easy to use. The ADX10 microphone provides an exceptional frequency response of 50 Hz -18 kHz and incredible sensitivity. Designed in a lightweight, low-profile design, this microphone can be easily moved from one point to another. The microphone includes a tie-clip and a 3′ attached cable terminating to a mini-XLRf connector for easy connectivity.
Cardioid Polar Pattern
The cardioid polar pattern of the microphone effectively minimises noise and ambient audio at the off-axis sections of the microphone capsule. The cardioid pattern is uniformly controlled as it is most sensitive at 0° and least sensitive at 180°. It is easy to get a dry signal as the cardioid pattern blends out a bad-sounding room or a noisy fan in the background.
Tailored Frequency Response
The ADX10 microphone has a tailored frequency response that minimises low-frequency noise while maximising the intelligibility of vocals. With a frequency response of 50Hz to 18kHz, you can be sure to experience speech intelligibility that enables you to hear spoken words clearly and understand well. The microphone also maintains a sensitivity of 5 mV / Pa @ 1k, which enables the microphone to pick up audio sound accurately.
Miniature Profile
The miniature design of the microphone capsule is suitable for video, presentation, and performance applications. With its lightweight, low-profile design, you can conveniently move, install, and attach the microphone with ease on a flat surface or dress thanks to the tie clip that enables you to attach the microphone to a tie or lapel.
