DS-940DW Duplex Wireless Mobile Document Scanner Description
The Brother DS-940DW duplex wireless mobile document scanner provides simple and quick wireless document digitization. The DS-940DW can scan documents up to 72 inches long and business and plastic ID cards. Scan two-sided colour and black-and-white items at up to 16ppm in a single pass. Scan to various destinations, such as File Image OCR Email Network cloud services. The DS-940DW mobile scanner has a small footprint (no bigger than a spaghetti box) and uses the Brother DSD (Desk Saving Design), which saves up to 11 inches of desk space.
The DS-940DW is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux, as well as TWAIN/SANE/WIA drivers for PC and ICA drivers for Mac. It is great for on-the-go or home/small office professionals. It makes scanning simple with features such as compatibility with Brother's free iPrint&Scan for the desktop app and the option to retrieve scanned files by installing special software on the linked PC.
An embedded battery and micro SD card compatibility provide proper scanning mobility:
