C888-K9 Cisco Router 880 Series Description
Cisco 880 Series Integrated Service Routers features the C888-K9 Router that provides collaborative business solutions for secure data and voice communication to small business and enterprise teleworkers. C888-K9 offers simultaneous broadband services over 3G, metro Ethernet, and multiple DSL technologies to provide business continuity. It supports wireless 802.11n and 3G, which offers LAN and WAN mobility with the performance required for concurrent services such as firewall, content filtering, and VPN encryption.
The Cisco C888-K9 supports Cisco web-based configuration professional tools for simplifying setup and deployment.
Secure Applications:
The Cisco C888-K9 is ideal for deployment in small offices or part of a large network setup, most often with a secure VPN connection. The Cisco C888-K9 offers VPN encryption and integrated security such as firewall and intrusion prevention which protect the network. ice Gateway
Four-port 10-/100 Ethernet Switch:
The C888-K9 allows the connection of multiple devices to designate a port as the network edge. It also provides an optional external PoE adapter that powers IP Phones and external access points to avoid individual power supplies or power injectors.
Real-time Clock:
Cisco C888-K9 features a built-in real-time clock that gives accurate dates and times for applications that require timestamps such as logging and digital certificates.
