The PAESP M Phantom Power Adapter from AKG is designed to power microphones without using bulky external power supplies. It is suitable for fixed and mobile installation in theatres, houses of worship, and conference rooms. The PAESP M adapter offers a programmable switch with an on/mute/off function that offers noiseless switching. It features a BCD (binary code decimal) selectable operating modes for switchable bass roll-off and light ring functions set to be adjusted, for instance, bass roll-off, LED ring mode (on, off, follow mic function) as well as the mic switch mode (push to mute, push-to-talk, push on - push off). The phantom power adapter provides RFi shield technology that provides high immunity to radio frequency interference and comes with a wide voltage range of 9-52 V inputs. The PAESP M is integrated with a gold-plated connector contact, making it fit for most available microphone mixer inputs. It is designed to feed all modular plus series capsules and DAM + series which provides it with the highest flexibility.

The programmable switch is designed to reduce the level of noise by 26dB, thus avoiding the irritating crackling sound when phantom powering is interrupted.
