The Audix DN4 Dante AES67 Integrated Microphone System Interface is a high-performance audio processing solution that provides audio efficiency to your microphone system. This high-powered device can be used to provide microphone functions such as on-off contact closure and LED status indicators for meeting rooms, educational facilities, convention centres, and houses of worship, through a single Cat 5 cable or above with RJ45 connections.
On the front part of the DN4 Dante AES67 Integrated Microphone System Interface are four Ethernet ports that are useful for connecting single-element microphones through RJ45 connection. This configuration provides a more tailored and accelerated installation and eliminates wiring errors. Additionally, all Audix RJ45-equipped microphone gain structures are designed for their intended placement, which provides quality audio at the Digital Signal Processor (DSP).
Furthermore, the DN4 Integrated Microphone System’s interface has 5V logic outputs per port source/sink capability for LEDs that are controlled by network-connected DSPs. Each audio channel has low-pass and high-pass filtering settings, as well as eight selectable gain levels with all settings configurable via software.
