The DigitalMedia 8G+ 4K60 4:4:4 HDR Wall Plate Transmitter is an advanced innovation engineered to provide multiple inputs, an auto-switching interface, and a controller for your 4K HDMI and DisplayPort sources. This device functions as a DM 8G+ transmitter and switcher when used with HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, and as a control module when RS-232 and IR control connections, Ethernet, and USB HID connectors are utilised for a complete connectivity solution.
The DM‑TX‑4KZ‑302‑C small footprint design makes it easy for versatile installation. You can choose to install it beneath your conference table, over a rack, inside a lectern, or at other wall locations in your meeting room. This simple body design and robust features also make the DM‑TX‑4KZ‑302‑C ideal for use in classrooms, boardrooms, auditoriums, or residences.
A single twisted pair cable of the CAT type is used to link this exceptional gadget to the head end or display location. It can be immediately linked to the input of a HDBaseT certified display device, this is because it is compatible with both the DM 8G+ and HDBaseT® standards.
4K60 4:4:4 & HDR Support:
Without the need for a switcher upgrade or extra wiring, this device DM 4KZ endpoints and cards integrate with both new and existing DM systems to handle full 4K60 4:4:4 video signals, as well as HDR video signals (HDR10).
The DM 4KZ technology uses VESA Display Stream Compression (DSC) to improve DigitalMedia's capacity to manage the high bandwidth needs of resolutions higher than 4K30 4:4:4 and 4K60 4:2:0. The DSC, which is a lightweight, line-based 2:1 compression standard, provides lossless visual performance for 4K60 4:4:4 and HDR streams. Note that only 4K60 4:4:4 and HDR input signals get DSC. The transmission of all other signals is uncompressed.
DigitalMedia 8G+:
Featuring a DigitalMedia 8G+ also known as DM 8G+, be guaranteed a lossless transport for HD video, audio, power, Ethernet, and control signal over a single twisted copper wire. This model is designed to deliver extremely high bandwidth and ultimate scalability. In addition, the DigitalMedia 8G+ supports third-party CAT5e cable or Crestron DM Ultra Cable to transmit uncompressed Full high-definition 1080p, WUXGA, and 2K signals over distances of up to 330 feet, which is approximately 100 metres.
In addition to DigitalMedia 8G+ technology, the DM‑TX‑4KZ‑302‑C is designed using HDBaseT Alliance specifications. This means it can be used across other HDBaseT-certified devices. This wall plate transmitter can be connected directly to an HDBaseT-compliant device through its DM 8G+ output without the requirement of a DigitalMedia receiver.
Multimedia Computer/AV Interface:
Swiftly switch between displays. The DM‑TX‑4KZ‑302‑C enables comprehensive switching among three HDMI inputs and a single DisplayPort input. The three inputs offer support of ultra-high-definition and DCI (Display Stream Compression) 4K resolutions. By utilising a proper interface cable or adapter, DVI and Dual-Mode DisplayPort signals can be handled by the HDMI inputs. You may also swap the inputs automatically for plug-and-play convenience, and alternatively, a Crestron control system can be customised to switch the inputs.
