Digitally capture fingerprints with a high-performance, industry-standard fingerprint scanner. The FS80H Fingerprint Scanner is a portable scanning device that operates with advanced CMOS image sensor technology. This scanner adopts Live Finger Detection (LFD) for precisely detecting and capturing real fingers; and rejects fake fingerprints made from any material, including rubber, silicone, and Play-Doh. This feature makes it impossible to forge fingerprints, therefore increasing security.
Using infrared LEDs for finger illumination, this scanner can automatically adapt to problematic fingers such as moist/wet fingers, blurred fingers, dusty fingers, dry fingers, and other low-quality fingerprints. While it is built for precise capturing of fingerprints, the manufacturer also ensures the FS80H Fingerprint Scanner survives pressure for long-lasting use. A rugged sensor that features a thick (14 mm) crown glass is used as platen.
