The DactyScan84c from Green Bit is an optical live fingerprint reader with large platen suitable for large government programs such as E-Passports, border crossing cards, E-ID employee credentials, criminal identification, and other applications in need of 10 fingerprints flat and rolled acquisition. The reader is capable of capturing 4-slap and 2-thumbs fingerprints, allowing the collection of all 10-fingerprints using the 4+4+2 method. The DactyScan84c can also capture single rolled and flat fingerprints.
The DactyScan84c is set-up for rapid image acquisition, efficiency, and reliability with its ergonomic design and an easy-to-integrate SDK architecture. It has an intuitive LED-based user interface to indicate the scanning sequence and provide image quality feedback. It increases the accessibility as unskilled operators can efficiently process fingerprints. The DactyScan84c is unique in terms of acquisition speed.
