SecuGen Hamster Pro 20 (HU20) is a FBI (PIV) FIPS 201, FBI Mobile ID (FAP 20), and STQC certified (UIDAI, Aadhaar) ultra-compact USB fingerprint scanner.
This flexible fingerprint scanning device is built with wide features that makes fingerprint scanning seamless. It scans all types of finger sizes and converts them into a high-quality fingerprint image. Even in challenging situations in which fingers are dry, moist, aged or scarred, the Hamster Pro 20 is still able to efficiently capture fingerprints, thanks to its Smart Capture technology. Hamster Pro 2o is mechanised with Secugen’s Auto-On technology. This technology enables the fingerprint scanner to quickly and automatically detect finger placement on the sensing surface for fast scanning operation.
In addition, the Hamster Pro 20’s IP54 rated water and dust resistant construction help protect the internal mechanism from being damaged by any potential water drop(s), dirt, and dust; making it more suitable for use in challenging environments.
