The HP ScanJet 8390 is a sturdy and reliable scanner with an integrated Auto Document Feeder. It scans documents of 35 pages per minute and up to 100 documents without having to be present. You can also scan a 4 x 6" colour photo in as little as 24 seconds. To ensure that all of your scanned photographs and documents look better than the originals, the Scanjet 8390 offers up to 4800 dpi optical resolution, 48-bit colour, and Kofax VirtualReScan. With the flatbed of the scanner, productivity can be increased. Additionally, the built-in Transparent Materials Adapter and supplied templates make it simple to take pictures from 35 mm slides and negatives, medium-format film, and 4x5 inch film.
The one-touch buttons can be used for speedy scanning or copying. There are also four programmable buttons for customised quick scanning. Keep a safe, digital copy of all of your critical documents by scanning them in a clear, sharp manner. You can also use the bundled OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software to convert scanned books and documents into editable text.

It has HP Real Life technologies, which include redeye reduction, adaptive lighting, and the capacity to improve, fix, and restore photographs, slides, and negatives. Even colour restoration, damage and dust removal are possible. Up to 3 images, or 8 slides, or 18 negatives can be simultaneously scanned, and each one is saved as a separate file, with multi-photo capability. You also get the option to save 48-bit files as well.
