The InFocus IN5108 4000 Lumens Projector is the projector to choose when you need big pictures with fine detail. Its 4000 lumens and 1000:1 contrast ratio give it the projection power to throw large pictures using any one of its four optional lenses while its SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) resolution enables it to show highly detailed images.

Those images can be in a wide variety of formats. The IN5108 can handle images in the NTSC, PAL and SECAM worldwide video standards. In addition to its native resolution it can handle PC images in VGA (640x480), SVGA (800 x 600), XGA (1024 x 768), SXGA (1280 x 1024), UXGA (1600 x 1200), WXGA (1280 x 800) and WXGA+ (1440 x 900). It's also Macintosh compatible and it has an international 100 to 240 volt power supply so it will work in any number of situations and locations.

If you do send your IN5108 to some far off shore don't worry. You can stay in touch over the Internet. The projector's RJ45 jack allows it to plug into a network that extends across the campus or around the world. Its built-in diagnostics allow for remote monitoring and control.

The IN5108 has lots of features you'll appreciate if you work with it up close and personal too. In most projectors audio and video inputs are rigidly paired. "Assignable audio inputs" means you can decide which audio signal to use with which video signal. Guess which way the IN5108 does it? It's a great convenience.

Equally convenient is changing the lamp. You literally just pop the top off its housing. The ability to project lines or a grid is an unexpected convenience. It comes in handy when you're writing or graphing as you present with a blackboard. And the wireless remote doubles as a laser pointer.

The IN5108 is sold with a lens, featuring a zoom ratio of 1.2:1. However, there are four optional lenses available as well. One is a fixed short throw lens that's great for rear projection setups. The other three are a short throw, a long throw and an ultra long throw. One of them is bound to be a great match for your needs. In fact, the IN5108 itself might just be exactly the projector you're looking for.
