IPEVO VZ-R Document Camera Description
The IPEVO VZ-R Document camera is designed for real-time image capturing and video recording for remote collaboration. This Document camera comes with an in-built 8 megapixels camera plus a Sony CMOS image sensor and a powerful Ambarella integrated -chip (SoC). These features enable the VZ-R to capture images at higher resolution for a true, ultra clear picture reproduction, noise-reduction and colour reproduction at enhanced speed. Thanks to its integrated LED light, this document camera performs smart capturing in low-light environments.
It effortlessly captures materials like textbooks, artworks, documents, and 3D objects. This device can also project visuality to display screens including TV, monitor, or projectors, using a HDMI, and can be powered via laptop computer using USB connection, making it useful for institutions like schools, libraries, home use, auditorium, and other institutions where its need is appreciated.
The IPEVO VZ-R Document camera is compactly built with a multi-joint adjustable mechanism which can be easily manipulated for perfect positioning, capturing images from different heights, angles, and orientation. It is compatible with both Windows and macOS devices, which means you can connect to MacBooks, Windows PC, and Chromebooks.
Direct HDMI Connection to TVs, Monitors, or Projectors
With no need for a computer, the IPEVO VZ-R makes it easier to stream live images of objects which are presented under the 8MP camera on a wider screen using any device you own, like televisions, monitors, and projectors, using HDMI. This is made possible because of its capability of switching between USB and HDMI.
*Note: When using the HDMI mode, you need to plug the VZ-R to a power source. You use a wall power outlet using either your phone or tablet 5V/1A power adapter. Alternatively, you can connect it to a powered USB port of your TV, projector, or computer. In a situation where there is no power supply, you can use a power bank too.
Use it in USB mode
VZ-R also features a USB connection which connects straight to your laptop’s USB interface, eliminating the use for an external power supply. Its integrated universal operating system makes it work with both Windows systems, and iOS computers such as Mac, Windows PC, and Chromebook. When using the USB mode, the live images captured will be streamed directly to your computer screen. You can then project the images to a large screen through a projector connected to your computer or an HDMI to a TV screen.
Furthermore, VZ-R is compatible with a variety of software when used in USB mode. You may use it with IPEVO Visualizer software to present student work, or create flipped classroom videos with software such as Seesaw, Camtasia, or OBS. Also, you can double this device up as a webcam for online meetings or video conferencing by using video conferencing software such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting, Skype, or Google Hangouts/Meet. The VZ-R features a built-in microphone that is only functional in USB mode.
