| The TVS-871T also supports simultaneous 4K video transfers and displays. It runs the QTS operating system and is well suited for the creating and use of a personal cloud so you can access your data from anywhere. It is powered by a 3.0 GHz Intel Core i5-4590S Quad-Core processor, which will allow you to run multiple functions simultaneously and features a burst speed of up to 3.7 GHz. The built-in 16GB of DDR3 RAM will not only allow quick access to frequently-used files and programs, but also helps to ensure efficient multitasking. Network connectivity can be achieved using either the 2 x 10GbE ports or 4 x 1GbE ports.This 8-bay enclosure has the ability to natively house both 3.5" and 2.5" SATA III hard drives and SSD drives; screws are included to accommodate both drive sizes. |

For those who wish to increase the storage capacity of their TVS-871T, the TX-500P and TX-800P Thunderbolt storage expansion enclosures are sold as separate add-on devices and can accommodate up to 56 hard drives. Also supported are SSD caching and four combinations with Macs and JBOD for flexible attaching, sharing, and expansion (Mac+JBOD, Mac+Mac, Mac+NAS, and JBOD+JBOD).The TVS-871T operates using 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz and consumes 350W. It includes 4 x Gigabit Ethernet cables, 2 x 10 Gigabit Ethernet cables, 1 x power cord, 32 x flat head screws (for 3.5" hard drives), and 24 x flat head screws (for 2.5" hard drives). Please note that a Thunderbolt 2 cable is not included. |
