With a rotational speed of 7200 rpm, read and write time are improved over the 5400 rpm standard. As reliability and data integrity are a major area of concern, this hard drive is also built with 300,000 load/unload cycles, 1 per 1014 non-recoverable read errors per bits (max), up to 2,400 power-on hours, and a yearly workload of 55TB. |
