Sennheiser ADN D1 comes with a Digital Delegate Conferencing Unit, which is part of Sennheiser's Audio Distribution Network conferencing system. The ADN D1 microphone offers high speech intelligibility in a modern industrial design. The gooseneck microphone features a DSP limiter that is used for speech compression as well as setting limits to safeguard any professional audio amplifier. Equipped with a super-cardioid capsule that attenuates unwanted noise efficiently, the ADN D1 microphone helps deliver quality audio performance without noise interference. A twin-loudspeaker system guarantees a homogenous sound level in the meeting room.
The microphone operates in either direct access mode, wherein any delegate may speak at any time, or in "request" mode wherein you must add a name to a list of delegates waiting to speak, and wait to be granted permission by the chairperson unit. This functionality can be carried out with the microphone key button featured in the ADN D1 gooseneck microphone. The device connects to the ADN D1 central unit via a Cat 5 cable and functions as a delegate's microphone and playback speaker. Hidden cable connections can be optionally secured with strain reliefs for fixed installations. The ADN D1 measures 15” gooseneck length.

The Sennheiser ADN D1 features a DSP limiter that allows you to set level threshold values, ensuring that the signal level cannot exceed a specific range. Never worry about the microphone exceeding its operation capacity thanks to the Digital Signal Processing limiter that prevents clipping. A limiter catches the loudest peaks of an audio source and applies brick wall compression that prevents it from exceeding the clipping point of 70 dB(A).
