Shure MXA910 - Ceiling Array Microphone DescriptionÂ
An exceptional integration in the meeting room creates an immersive feeling and provides room for more open collaborations. The Shure’s Microflex Advance Ceiling Array delivers harmonious impressions, picking up voices diagonally with its built-in Autofocus technology that captures participants' voices from overhead, and continuously fine-tunes the position of each lobe in real-time.
Â
This premium networked array microphone is specifically designed for AV conferencing environments such as huddle rooms, boardrooms, and multi-purpose meeting spaces, to efficiently pick up tones from overhead without participants having to stress at the top of their voices. Even with voices at the lowest tone, the MXA910 ensures they are picked and efficiently transmitted to the participants at the far end. This mic array converts any conference room into a conducive and professional environment for meeting collaboration to be conducted. This, in turn, kicks out the need for multiple microphones that mostly clutter your conference table, resulting in a space free from wired/wireless mic pods.
Configurable Coverage:
Clarity is assured with the MXA910. This impressive innovation is designed sleekly to fit the ceiling, offering steerable coverage with the help of its built-in Autofocus technology and 8 independent directional pickup lobes that capture participants' voices from overhead, and continuously fine-tune the position of each lobe in real time. This means you can modify each lobe’s position according to seat set-up for optimum performance and consistent voice coverage.
IntelliMix DSP:
The IntelliMix DSP package that comes with the MXA910 contains AEC, noise reduction, automatic mixing, and more. The microphone can be controlled with Shure Designer software or a web programme that runs in a browser. The microphone offers a high-quality AV conferencing experience that is appealing to integrators, consultants, and meeting attendees alike. It interacts effortlessly with Dante digital networked audio, AES67, and third-party preset controllers, such as Crestron and AMX.
Network Connectivity:
Setting up the MXA910 microphone array is made simple. Using a CAT5e cable, simply connect the MXA910 to a PoE port on a network switch, and connect another cable to your computer and then to the same network switch where the microphone array is connected to. Separate audio channels for each lobe and an auto-mix channel are delivered over a single network cable. Dante digital audio coexists safely on the same network as IT and controls data. Control strings are available for third-party preset controllers including Crestron and AMX.
