The SD500-PSDA is a dual action pull station requiring two motions to activate the station. The SD500-PS is a single action pull station requiring only one motion to activate the station. Compatible with 5700, 5808, 5820XL, and 5820XL-EVS IntelliKnight addressable fire alarm control panels programmed for Hochiki protocol.

The SD500-PS single action pull stations are operated by a pull on the front pull cover of the station. The SD500-PSDA dual action pull stations are operated by lifting up an access plate and then pulling forward on the front cover of the pull station. A plunger switch, wired to a self contained addressable module, is released as the pull station opens to initiate the alarm.
