DS120j NAS DiskStation Description
The DS120j is a centralised storage solution that lets you share family photos and videos with all household devices, including mobile phones and computers. It is designed as a low-cost, user-friendly single-bay NAS for storing, sharing, and safeguarding personal data. The data can be accessed remotely using the free Android and iOS apps.
Your digital assets on computers, mobile devices running Android or iOS, and other platforms are safeguarded from harmful attacks, including the escalating encryption-based ransomware threats by Synology's comprehensive multi-version backup solution. One disk bay, which can accommodate 3.5" hard drives natively as well as 2.5" hard drives and SSDs with an adaptor, is included. This NAS's single drive bay enables you to share and store a sizable quantity of data, including pictures, music, movies, and documents with up to 512 user accounts. Additionally, it has two USB 2.0 Type-A ports that lets you connect it to your Windows or Mac computer. A built-in Gigabit Ethernet connector enables network connectivity and lets you share your stored data with other users on the network.
The DS120j is powered by the browser-based Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) OS, which makes it easier to manage your Synology NAS. Its CPU enables speedy access to frequently used files and programs. It is designed to use little energy.
