The TP-Link TL-SG1008PE Gigabit Desktop Switch is an eight 10/100/1000 Mb/s port unmanaged switch that requires no configuration and provides 8 PoE (Power over Ethernet) ports. It can automatically detect and supply power with all IEEE 802.3af compliant PDs (Powered Devices).
In this situation, the electrical power is transmitted along with data in one single cable, allowing you to expand your network to where there are no power lines or outlets, where you wish to connect devices such as APs, IP cameras, IP phones, and more.
All of the 8 auto-negotiation RJ-45 ports of the switch support PoE (Power over Ethernet) function. These PoE ports can automatically detect and supply power with the IEEE 802.3af/at compliant PDs (Powered Devices). Supports PoE power up to 30W for each PoE port, a total of up to 124W for all PoE ports, and supports priority function to protect the system when the system power is overloaded.
