With the ability to create up to 5 VPN Tunnels, you can allow users to transfer files from virtually anywhere with an Internet connection. A VPN Tunnel is a virtual private network that interconnects remote networks through the Internet. With the ability to create VPN Tunnels, the TL-WR842ND has the ability to ensure the data passing through the VPN remains secure.
The integrated USB port within the TL-WR842ND makes printer sharing simple. Connect your USB printer directly to the router and take advantage of the print server capabilities of the router to enable any client within the network to print freely and easily. The integrated USB port also enables you to take advantage of both FTP and Media Server Functionality. FTP functionality makes transferring files throughout the network more efficient while Media Server functionality gives you the ability to share your media with a variety of devices such as video game consoles, tablets, mobile devices and other computers.
With administrator controls such as live parental restrictions, local management, and remote management you can maintain complete control of your network.
