Victron Multiplus Inverter Charger Description
The Victron Multiplus is a combination of an inverter and a Charger stacked together in a simple and compact design. It features a PowerAssist Technology that prevents overload of a limited AC source and can function as a UPS in other to supply power when there is a grid failure.
PowerAssist Technology:
The MultiPlus will stop an AC source, like a generator or shore power connection, from becoming overloaded. First, if a battery overload were to occur, charging would immediately be reduced. The second stage will use battery power to increase the output of a generator or shore-side supply.
UPS Function:
The inverter inside the Multiplus is automatically engaged and takes over the supply to the connected loads in the event of a grid failure or generator power is removed. This happens so quickly that computers and other electronic devices will continue to function normally.
Remote Managing:
You can use the free VRM app and free VRM portal website to monitor and control your Victron Multiplus and system locally (LAN) or remotely over the internet from anywhere in the world when used in conjunction with a GX device (such as Cerbo GX). Access is possible via a variety of operating systems on a phone, tablet, laptop, or PC.
