VIVITEK DW882ST PROJECTOR

The DW882ST is a very bright short throw projector designed for education and training. At 3600 lumens, and working from such a close distance (2m wide image from just over 1.5m away), the DW882st will always display a clear, vivid image throughout the day and even with the lights on. This is great if it is being used in a classroom as students need to work in the light, and also if you are using it as a mobile presentation projector and can't control the lighting in the venue you take it to, then you can have peace of mind that it will always cope well.

The WXGA resolution and high contrast ratio of 15,000:1 will make the projection look crisp and detailed with good colour reproduction, ideal for video clips, photographs / images and also power point presentations. This modern widescreen resolution is future proof too, so you can be sure that it will be compatible with laptop or PC you have now as well as ones you may purchase a few years down the line.

HDMI and VGA (x2) inputs mean you can connect to a few different sources at the same time, along with a VGA monitor output, something a teacher could take advantage of if they want to have the picture on the PC monitor as well as the whiteboard / screen. Rapid start up and shut down is useful for saving the lamp being blown and for packing away after a training session or meeting, although the lamp life on the dw882st is less than you'll find on other similar projectors - a slight downside. The integrated 10W speaker is a nice touch so in the smaller rooms there is no need for any extra speakers.
