The Xerox DocuMate 4830 is a duplex scanner with a large flatbed and a 75-sheet automatic document feeder for increased versatility. It is suitable for effective high-volume scanning, with an ADF appropriate for loose pages, and accepts documents as large as 11.7 x 118" down to 4 x 4.13". It is built to last, with a rated duty cycle of up to 3000 pages per day and the ability to digitise a US Letter colour page at speeds of up to 60 IPM when set to black and white or grayscale. The flatbed can independently scan media as large as 11.7 x 16.5" A3 paper in high-quality 600-dpi resolution for smaller pages or bound copies such as books and periodicals.
The DocuMate 4830 connects to your computer through a USB 2.0 connector and can export 24-bit colour photos in PDF, JPEG, or TIFF. A DVD that comes with the camera contains a variety of tools for quick image modification, including Visioneer Acuity, which can instantly brighten and align your photos at the press of a button.
