Audio-Technica ATND1061 Beamforming Ceiling Array Microphone Description

The ATND1061 beamforming microphone array microphone is an ideal solution for conference rooms, boardrooms, and meeting spaces - large and small. It is enabled with VISCA over IP to control PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras and other video equipment, which can be managed over a network and synced with microphone audio. The ATND1061 features a voice lift technology that allows everyone in a large meeting space to hear equally well and the powerful onboard DSP is equipped with an automix, acoustic echo cancellation, noise reduction, automatic gain control, and 4-band EQ. A user-friendly Digital Microphone Manager software that comes with the microphone ensures easy configuration with single or multiple ATND1061 microphone settings. It is supported by six individual output channels with up to 32 user-defined microphone pickup zones, providing the flexibility to cover a wide variety of room sizes and meeting types. The microphone offers proprietary voice activity detection (VAD) technology that enables the microphone to discern between  voice and unwanted noises.

In addition, to receive Dante audio, two network ports with single cable and split modes are required, and the microphone controls data together or separately over category cable (ATND1061DAN). The ATND1061 microphone offers versatile mounting options and mounting hardware for easy installation. Being UL 2043 compliant, it comes with plenum spaces for installation. The microphone includes a tile bridge and safety wiring. The microphone is powered by network PoE and it is Dante-enabled and A-T LINK-enabled.

Defined Audio Pickup

The microphone array uses beamforming technology to focus audio capture on the person speaking and allows you to configure up to 32 user-defined pick-up zones quickly so you can prioritise coverage and hear the participants. Audio pickup in conference rooms, boardrooms, and large or small meeting spaces is clearly defined. Beamforming technology allows each person speaking to be captured clearly while unwanted environmental noise is reduced.

VAD (Voice Activity Detection) Technology

The microphone features AT's VAD (Voice Activity Detection) technology that enables the ATND1061 microphone to discern between voices and other background noise that can serve as distractions. Exclusion zones can be declared to pre-empt the pickup of known noise sources. The VAD also allows coverage and priority zones, the coverage zone provides maximum flexibility in configuring who and what the microphone focuses on and it offers 16 user-defined coverage zones that will capture a speaker either seated or on the move in the room. Priority zones are generally used for known participants and this microphone features 16 priority zones. The speaker in each zone receives priority over channel one's coverage zone, whether seated or moving.

Multiple Mount Options

You can conveniently and easily mount the microphone with the included accessories, giving users versatile mount options in the conference room, boardrooms, and small or large meeting spaces. The included mount hardware allows the microphone to be flush-mounted or surface-mounted. You can also mount the ATND1061 using a standard VESA mount (sold separately).
