Sennheiser HMDC 27 Professional Broadcast Headset and Cable with NoiseGard Description
Delivers accurate and linear sound reproduction for very demanding monitoring using the Sennheiser HMDC 27 Broadcast Headset. This closed, circumaural headset features a dynamic microphone with a hyper-cardioid polar pattern for audio transmission in the highest broadcast quality even in noisy environments. The headset is engineered with Active Noise Compensation (NoiseGard) that reduces noise by up to 15 dB, allowing you to enjoy noise-free communication flow. The ActiveGard protects noise peaks above 110 dB, ensuring your ears are actively protected from sudden sound surges caused by excessive loud noise. With the included 6.6' XLR and 1/4" connector cable, you can conveniently connect the headset for use with compatible cables of the cable 26-II series. Supply power via microphone bias voltage from the commentator's unit requiring P48 phantom power. This lightweight circumaural design headset features a splitted headband for wearing comfortably without adding pressure on the sensitive fontanelle.
Active Noise Compensation
Integrated with an active noise compensation (NoiseGard), the HDMC 27 headset is designed to reduce noise by up to 15 dB. This allows you to enjoy noise-free communication flow in the application room and enables you to stay focused without outside noise distractions. The ActiveGard (on/off switch) protects hearing against noise peaks greater than 110 dB, ensuring your ears are actively protected from sudden sound surges caused by excessively loud noise.
Dynamic Microphone with Hyper-Cardioid Pattern
The HDMC 27 headset features a dynamic microphone that stands out due to a strong sound pattern with a hyper-cardioid polar pattern. It delivers audio transmission with a high-broadcast quality even in noisy environments. The microphone can be worn either on the right or left-hand side, giving you the liberty to wear it on either side of your ear.
Lightweight Circumaural Design
Designed in a lightweight circumaural design with a split headband, the HDMC headset ensures there is no pressure on the sensitive fontanelle. Equipped with a swiveling ear cap, the headset gives room for single-sided listening. The included wide headband padding converts the two-piece headband into a compact single-piece.
